Advancement Via Individual Determination, otherwise know as AVID. It's a really good program and you can take it in some schools that offer it and it goes from grades 6-10 or 12 I can't really remember. It teaches you an affective style to take notes and you get to take field trips to different colleges and it encourages you to get high grades and do you you're best. I know some kids that didn't give a *BLEEP* about college but after being in the AVID program that was there main goal. Has anyone ever heard of this program or been in it or have any questions on it that I will do my best to answer??
