Maybe this topic is created in the wrong section but i wanted to know if there are people who use Avast anti virus. And what are your experiences with this antivirus software. I already tried other programs but they didnt work good enough for me. Thanks

i use the home edition and i find it very usefull although it can somtimes slow down you system whiulst the real time scanner is active

I use it and it uses the least amount of memory and cpu time out of all the good antivirus software programs. I have used macafee, nortons, zonealarm, etc. and this is by far the best one. I have never gotten a virus since i started using it and it is free which is the best of all.
