ati's released just a few moments ago a mentenance release of their drivers and Phronix has comented upon it and made a few tests with the linux drivers.Check it out on:

it seems it is not all free around linux is it?, it is good for those companies to spread the domain they have formed. I always said it, the software might be free but the hardware at last will be even more expensive due to the poor availability for many hardwares.
