I want to scan books and documents (50+) and make them ebooks or pdf documents.

Do you have any good ways to do it? Instead of flipping pages over the scanner?

I prefer keeping the books, instead of cutting off in papers.

Appreciate your genius thoughts!

Without destroying the books, your only option is to lay them face down on a scanner. If you buy a 2nd copy you can use a sheet feeder and speed up the process 1000 fold. This is not an option for rare or expensive volumes however.
