Currently on version 0.2 with 0.3 in development Swift is on the cutting edge of web browsing technology. Swift utilizes apple's webkit to bring you KHTML which is widely considered the best rendering technology. Not to mention Swift is free to use. Swift is a very lightweight browser and soon plans to implement it's own adblocker.
Get swift here. Disclaimer: Swift is still in development stages. If you are looking for a fully functional watered down web browser get firefox or opera. |

I dont get it. There is no info on the webpage. I thought it would be realted to the swift3d program and implement 3d webpages... guess not. It looks like just another browser after all. I really need more info.

Is this browser an open source project ?? I feel, if it is not open source, then it might not be able to make waves in the market..
According to me Opera is a browser as good as firefox. But i feel firefox has the edge because of the extensions available. And also the add ons one can install to their firefox browser makes life better .. I will wait for swift and see how it goes. |
