A Worm Sig : By Mayank

Hey friends....yesterday i posted my first ever sig...and got some good responce...and very nice tips, today i have made another sig.
here are the details.

Render : Worms (taken from planetrenders.net)
Brush : Forgot which one i used...but was from deviantart.
Font : Georgia Bold Italic and Arial Bold Italic
Effect Used : Supernova on the sword.
Created With : THE GIMP 2.2 (windows version)

Please comment and tell me wheather i was able to remove the problems as seen in the last SIG.

I think it's good for your second sig bro.

when you make your text, put it under the color balance layer, and give some effects on it, that way, it matches your background and your background color.

Keep working man, you'll be doing better in no time!

this is better than your first one you did. i think the main thing you need to do with this one is experiment with different text effects. if you like the font then just go and try a bunch of different styles and see what you like.

Background: Not bad, not great, but not bad.
Render: Its worm, insta win.
Font: Me no like most default fonts but eh, its mainly the grey text thats ugly IMO.

Overall not great, but pretty good for your second or w/e sig.

If thats your second sig thats amazing. But th text really needs improvement man... The text sucks.... No offense.

I really like it, I just don't like how you did the text. Next time, try playing around with different effects for the text and fonts. Still, good sig.

Hey Mayank! How did you find trap 17? Glad you are hosted. What happened to Liquid H? I am hosted too. I, like everyone else, lost everything at LH. You were a moderator there weren't you. You helped me out on getting hosting. Oh well. Great to see you. Have a great day!

I agree with everyone else, the text needs to be tweaked a bit.(font and color) And that dotted line, eerrr, just doesn't work for me. You know what would be cool, adding some grass on the bottom, it would keep with the feel.

and I can see that most of you have mentioned about the text...and i assure you guyz that next time you wont have any complaints....i resolved most of the complaints which i got in my first sig and now i'll make sure that my next sig will be different and i will get positive comments and better ratings

The real input should be coming through words...ratings are just numbers, and don't actually make you a better designer. That's why I've been leaving all my number ratings out lately.

My suggestions on it would be to drastically fix up the text (Better placement, size, effects, colors, blending...), and some minor touchups on the bg and render blending.
