The World's Ditch

Trapped in a ditch
Just insanity and me
I’m gnawing at these chains
That forever restrain me
My teeth are shattered
I’m bleeding uncontrollably
My ditch keeps getting deeper
As the earth swallows me
It was you, not just me
Who dragged me deeper
Into this hell and my hole
Keeps getting steeper
You stabbed me in the back
Time and time again
I never hate
You give me reason to resent

Bleeding
Wildly
Depleting
My soul
Crying
For help
Dying
Alone
Trying
To exit
Failing
Myself
Driven
Insanity
Dying
Alone

You contradicted my plans
And all the hope I had
My misery is displayed
For bystanders to laugh
My face is blank
Body with no certain image
I represent all mankind
Cause we’ll all soon be in this
My hope dangles on a string
And life is torn from my corpse
Flashbacks of my life
Bring me remorse
And now I have
No chance of survival
But I keep trying to escape
So I can at least keep my soul

Fear
Un-ending
Torment
Wishing
For death
Not
My own
Feeling
Resent
Chains
Restrain
Begging
Forgiveness
Dying
Alone
