This is a major upgrade to the core code. QUOTE "The most obvious changes are the new style for the admin screens and the new WYSIWYG post editor. Other changes include a new Role and Permission based user security scheme, built-in object caching, improved image uploading, new options for the default theme, and better abstraction for database access. massive changes to say the least. anyway, i myself just upgraded my wordpress installation for the blog i'm contemplating (http://main.polybuzz.info).  upgrade is a breeze... good thing i have not made much progress yet with my blog and am still searching for suitable plugins to enhance it.  for those interested on wp 2.0 compatible plugins, here's a long list: http://codex.wordpress.org/User:Matt/2.0_P...n_Compatibility

ahhh this one slipped by me. the Admin Interface looks really good now. I used to use Word Press 1.5, but got lazy with that. Wordpress is a great customizeable blogging program, and in my opinion the very best. Is anyone using V2.0 yet? If so, some feedback please

Hey, thanks a lot for the heads up! I will be sure to get this version up and running on my site as soon as possible to upgrade the older version that I currently have. I sure like the image upload feature... Once again, thanks a lot for the informative post and I hope to see more just like this one in the near future. See ya around!
