Wix: Flash Website Editor

I was refreshing my knowledge of XHTML, and I found this advertised at the bottom of one of the tutorial pages. The entire advertisement states:



It sparked a great deal of interest, and I decided that I should share it with my fellow Trappers.

According to their About Wix page, it claims:



Would someone who is already Hosted please let the rest of us know if this genuinely works?

Hi!

While using a Flash website editor is good idea to start off with, it only enables you to have pre-defined effects over templates. You can usually put up your own images, typing in your text, and publish to a server.

Several hosting providers have an HTML template editor, but a Flash template editor (esp. one with a web interface) isn't common yet. Check out the editor that 1&1 hosting offers its customers - it's the most comprehensive template editor with a web UI that I've used so far.

I know about wix technology to create flash websites.

I already did try wix flash website creator and editor to create a cool flash website, their technology is absolutely awesome, professional and very simple to actually build an outstanding and complete website in flash, even with goodies like contact forms and so forth.

You can decide yourself just now, and you do not need our opinion, wix website offers many links to flash websites created with their technology, just browse and look, each one has a cool and professional look and feel, not many programs can create such great flash websites, and there are only a few to create complete flash websites, i know of some, but to create flash websites in a web based environment, there are only a very few really, and most of them place a logotype of the company/technology that created the flash website or flash intro as i know of a great website that has a web flash intro creator.

If you want to buy a good program for your computer to build complete and very cool flash websites with amazing flash animations with each website, this are the best programs to actually create:

. Flash Effect Maker 5

If you want to start to learn and to create complete flash websites from scratch, you should use the following programs:

. Adobe Flash CS4/CS3/8/MX (I prefer the Adobe flash CS4, it is perfect)
. SwishMAX or Swish

Nowadays, you can get free videos that show you how to create cool, professional and simple flash websites with images and text with a little bit of actionscript to manage things up, just search Google with this keywords: free video create website in flash

I created a lot of complete flash websites, flash animations, flash intros and flash clocks until now, so you might take my word for it, i have some experience using flash technology and a lot of flash programs, both free and paid, so if you follow my words/advices to the letter written here, you might just get a professional in using flash technology.

I use google to search for videos to learn all kinds of things in flash technology, with adobe flash cs4 and adobe flash 8, those 2 are my preferable versions of adobe company software too, adobe dreamweaver does not have the style and features i prefer, but it is a great program.

I don't have the ability to invest money in any programs right now, but you've given me a lot to work with (both now and when I can invest money in my graphic and web editing endeavors).

Your supportive review of Wix sparks my interest even further. I didn't have the time, when I went about posting about this, to review their gallery. Although, I still think a firsthand account of someone having used Wix and learned (hard way, or no) what it truly had/has to offer is the best method of approach. Besides, how many times do we run across a site promising us amazing, free benefits, like what is claimed on Wix, only to discover that you've been lured in with shoddy gimmicks and that you need to buy the enhancements that really make an impression? I am very glad to learn that Wix is not like that, though.

Thanks for recommendations and links, and I will follow up on those as soon as I am able.
