i'm sure you would all agree that photoshop is the best image editing software out there. and plug-ins enhance the way we use photoshop (and other image editors out there, which also uses compatible photoshop plugins). let's share our plug-in experiences here.

which 3rd-party photoshop plug-ins do have in your arsenal, and which do you find most useful? some description on how you use them can be helpful here, and of course the url where we can find them for download for testing. smile.gif

let me start:
--> FILTERS UNLIMITED 2.0 - http://www.icnet.de/filters_unlimited/index.html
- for buttons, frames, edges, tiles, special effects, and a lot more. smile.gif this is my most used plugin, since i can play around with 350 automated filter effects in just one simple plugin. you may want to try it out.
--> MEHDI PLUGINS - http://www.mehdiplugins.com/
- 25 free photoshop plugins for download in their site, but is not available in one complete package as the one above. you have to download each plugin individually, and only what you find useful. smile.gif don't forget to get their projection plugin. you will love it. smile.gif

more soon. smile.gif your turn.

a little off-topic, but can still be useful. smile.gif although a bit limited on graphic formats it can support (PNG, BMP and GIF files), and photoshop has its own optimization feature.

currently, the only plug-in i have installed is Eye Candy 4000, it has many cool features and i like it, the only problem is i can't remember the site where i downloaded but with a google search you'll get some results..

serverph, thanks for sharing both sites, but it seems the first one - FILTERS UNLIMITED 2.0 - http://www.icnet.de/filters_unlimited/index.html - isn't free..or is it?

thanks anyway.

ket i'm gonna check out eye candy 4000 later. smile.gif i think it's by alienskin, but i haven't tried those yet. as for filters unlimited, there is a demo version from their site. i have the full version since i like the effects their plugin can provide. it is worth the price (at least for me). smile.gif

m33, you can simplify graphic manipulation with plugins as the ones above, so i would think you would have fun with photoshop from hereon. smile.gif enjoy!

Talking about image manipulation and enhancing softwares, though slightly going off-topic, I would suggest Picasa 2.0 by Google. It has been recently updated and has a lot of excellent features...

An I'm feeling lucky button is there in that program too, like in Google search and it just improves all the aspects of a photograph and I am very impressed with it! Most of my photographs have become crystal clear now... Thanks to Picasa.

I have tried mPowertools by ACDSee and even Photoshop, but none of them worked this well.

You must try this, however, you can't "edit" much there...

I could have sworn that posting information about warez, cracks and keygens was against Trap17 forum rules. Has that changed at all? But in anycase, back to the topic at hand.

I personally like Eye Candy 4000. It's one of the best filters/plug-ins I can think of for PhotoShop and/or PaintShop. It has some very good preset filters editing images and I don't know what I would do without it. Although, I will probably download and tryout that Filters Unlimited plug-in and see if it's really worth the price.

Thanks for the plug-in info guys.

the ones i use the most are the flaming pear series, eyecandy 5000, kai's power goo, and the default ones photoshop comes with. oh yes, aurora, genesis, and knoll lighting effects complete my "most used" plugin collection.
