Which Game Maker You Use?

Well I'd say if you wanna make games its best to do PROGRAMMING to do it. Even if you use the simply DM language which BYOND (check it out! @ www.byond.com ) uses, its alot better than RPG Maker because you created everything, you have more control, and more flexibility over your games.

BTW if you like RPG Maker and wouldn't mind learning a simple programming language and want to make tile based MMORPGs or just RPGs, check out BYOND (Build Your Own Net Dream) you can check it out at www.byond.com (as I said before).

I prefer Flash for making games. It's really good if you know ActionScript.

mostly if you like to program in cpp and you like 2d programming then go for:

1) DirectDraw (older directx)
2) Direct3d (newer directx)
3) graphiclibs (like OpenGL and [for me 'the best'] Allegro [see www.allegro.cc])

for me programming is hard, but learnable. i know something about cpp but not much

some of the makers can use code-scripts simillar to c++ or javascript.

Well as far as im concerned all of those are great.. but none of those support Multiplayer people over the internet, i personally suggest PlayerWorlds, look it up

Yeh this aint hardcore. Get into C++ its almost perfect for creating decent games.

Im going to try and make a Game in RPGMaker2k3

but i hear that gamemaker is a good program too for non rpg games.
