lol guys just use notepad for HTML it takes very little RAM and is just great. Unless u need a WYSIWYG editior, then you should just learn HTML...lol

Notepad is great, but sometimes I will use Dreamweaver if something isn't working right because you can preview your work. With notepad you would have to save it, upload it, and then go to your site (it gets annoying). Some HTML editors are just a little more convenient. If I'm just doing a quick change or something I'll use notepad.

This would prolly help with the annoying factor. Just my 2 pennies... No offense meant.

OpenOffice is NOT an HTML editor. It is a group of office applications to replace Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher) + Calc. AceHTML Freeware is the best free XHTML editor there is out there. At least for now...

If you're running *nix, Solaris or Mac OSX, Bluefish is fast and full of features. It's aimed at programmer's though, not necessarily the WSIWYG crowd. Ubuntu and Gentoo have pre-built packages available direct from the developer's web site. Here's their link: http://bluefish.openoffice.nl/ Oh, and it is free.

Really nice! Maybe in the future OpenOffice will remove Microsoft Office from the world store, couse it has almost the same features and it's free.

Hi everyone, I have used load of editor in my time i prefer to use dreamweaver or just normal notepad cause i like to code from hand lol, here is a list of what editors i have used and think they come quite in handy.
