Best Free Host

This topic is very old, but since many members gave a reply so so long ago, that is going to be my first reason to leave my comments about this topic subject too.

Trap17 is the best free web hosting service of the internet, but it is the best and the most complete of the free web hosting services that you must contribute in the forums with your written ideas/thoughts/et cetera.

I tell you this because there are other free web hosting services out there, not so good i must say, but very good too, they do not have so much to offer, but they do offer everything one could ever need, only a couple of things you will not have unlike here at trap17, which makes all the difference, but for personal websites perhaps it does the job, even for comercial websites that do not have too many visitors at a time, well, besides trap17, there is another one, which i use it for more then 2 years, and i am also very happy, but i would never exchange it for trap17, never, www.freehostia.com is only for some websites i have to show some stuff, to share, and so on, it has a control panel too, it has everything, but it does not give you more then enough, for medium to big comerical websites, you can forget it.

They do not give you the bandwidth nor the processor usage to suport the visitors at the same time, it sort of craches if you have really a lot of visitors, lets say thousands an hour, that is a big website, not comercial, but it takes a lot of bandwidth, and bandwidth is something that isp's and any web hosting services on the internet do not give to anyone, they sell to everyone they can, even to their mothers if they could (joking), so do not expect fantasies and/or miracles from web hosting services and isp's, they will only sell you bandwidth or they will give you such a great free web hosting service if you earn it, like for instance, using a credit system such as the one used at the trap17 website.

Do not get me wrong, if that is the case, the guy/girl that invented this system had a great idea, this system is great because makes people pay for the web hosting system without giving money, makes people pay by viewing the ads, and obviously if they click the ads, the system makes even more money for the administration of the system, and every system as an administration, and trap17 have good admins, opaque and buffalohelp, i like them, they helped me in the past as they could, i know they have a lot of pressure and a lot of work at hands, so i must expect more from the moderators, which by the way, i consider that they should have more power concerning the powers that they must have to moderate the forums at the trap17 website, but that is obviously my opinion, nothing more then that.

Well, i hope you learned something with me, with my personal experience, i have quite a bit of it and the goal was to share some since some of you seem to need concerning the subject of free web hosting services.

000webhost hm sounds too good to be true i guess you should stick with trap17 i see many people are happy with their hosting! and as sky said their Server16 is under massive 600mbps DDOS attack that is showing the unhappy customers anger to the host so if you have any files on their you'd better get them off and find a better host (trap17).

000webhost always can't connect the mysql !

Trap17 was always the best of the web hosting services since i discovered it, but now with the xistosupport.com billing and support area, where we could buy domains, quality hosting, all with mycents, with other services among it for free, who would not prefer it it instead of any other free or pay hosting service, does not even seems nor feels logic to me.

Trap17 web hosting, is the right decision for smart people, that is the slogan right there.

I also like the host you have selected, I use it for some of my sites but not my ITneed.net one. That is on a private host, Anyway I feel 000webhost have good security measures and also very good support if you ever come in any doubt or trouble with the hosting :s.

It seems an advertisement to earn money through 000webhost.

000webhost is not the best webhosting. I hosted my websites/blogs it with many times before came to trap17.com.
000webhost is not best free webhosting because

• Its servers are shutdowns time to time.
• Its mysql server downs many times even 5 times a day.
• There is no any automated script installer just nowadays.
• Web file uploader limited.
• No cpanel as shown in ads.
• Php error display on.

But trap 17.com is the best because

• I never found server down.
• Large community to support our problems regarding all things.
• Cpanel hosting /with automated script installer as well as Frantisco deluxe.

There are lots of thing which left behind with trap17.com webhosting.
So trap17 is the best.

Yea I am having this problem way to often with an IPB Database error I am guessing that is the mysql shutting down

I think I will buy some hosting off trap and give that ago .

Woah Ash, I thought you said 000WEBHOST was good, I was about to say, "your joking right?" Jesus please don't make me laugh. 000Webhost is the most stupidist webhosting service I've used every since I began using their hosting. I couldn't connect to FTP account, SQL Database nor backup my files. I couldn't do anything on there. I am sticking with Trap. for sure.

trap17 isnt really free though.. you have to spend time posting or buy it for $2.00.. time=money.

000webhost is good..
.the only problem I have with them right now is because of the autoinstaller..it's been down for a long long time now..
that's also why I'm here..
