http://www.i12.com is an excellent host (check out http://www.mjb.i12.com/ which is a little site I made years ago messing around) and they provide 800MB of storage...the downside is you have to dial into their servers to upload, which is why it's UK only :-)
(Note, the upload is fairly slow, more so if you're used to broadband :-)...also note I've not used this company in a long while but they were excellent before) |

Fitur? I am guessing you mean filter as in them watching to see which ISP you're from...and yes, they will refuse access if you're not logged into a dialup account :-) Let me point out some differences between trap17 and i12 Trap17 has PHP/MySQL - I12 doesn't I12 has 800MB webspace - Trap17 has less I12 is very fast...and I mean FAST...when downloading from sites on it...well, if you're in the UK...Trap17 I'm not so sure about yet (new to it :-)) Trap17 has permissions via FTP - I12 doesn't Trap17 has CGI - i12 doesn't If you've a basic site, i12 is the better choice...if you need PHP/MySQL/CGI, it's not :-) |

If you live in the UK, don't want FTP access with unlimited secondary accounts, don't want PHP, don't want MySQL, don't want cPanel, don't want Perl/CGI, don't want JSP, don't want unlimited subdomains, don't want domain hosting with unlimited add-on and parked domains, and you don't want a host of other features, then you might like to use i12.com as a host.
Otherwise, you might like to try using Trap17. |

Ble... I has only 800MB, nothing other. It hasn't got even PHP and FTP! And of course only fo UK, but there's a proxy server, so it's no problem.
Trap17 is much better! ;p |

To help summarize, if you want a site, and you're new to the internet, and you are completely alien to all the acronyms and funny names for this special and highly useful stuff, get on a jet, fly to the UK, bring your wife, children, brothers, sisters, far off relatives, house, car, etc., get a dial-up service in the UK, (prerequisite: learn french) and then sign up for whatever that was called. When you become unsatisfied with the service (and having bad caviar every night for dinner) repeat steps 2-5. And come back to the US.
*No hatred intended to anyone living in the UK or surrounding countries (even though I don't see how that's offensive to any surrounding countries) Tha Blk Panda |

I agree. Trap17 is greater than that.
