Spread-It is a great, no nonsense file host. I've been looking extensively at free file hosts and most are up to 100 mb or something along those lines. The bigger ones for some reason are usually Japanese, but this a totally free, no registration file host for anything up to 500 mb. The only catch is that if it's not donwloaded once in 14 days it get's deleted. But other than that they claim it's hosted forever. http://www.spread-it.com/

filefront.com is better, and its 10x more effecient to use then 500mbs of file hosting.

It doesnt seem that bad, some space is allways usefull. But they have only one server they store the files on they say

cool site, for big files I prefer www.yousendit.com such a beautifull thing it is. Any file up to a gig big. Just give an email and you will be mailed a link. We use them alot in media forums at subfighter.com or sherdog. But the bad side is that no one rehosts haha. And the link will work for 30 downloads or 14 days. For smaller files like 50 megs and under, I use www.megaupload.com or www.rapidshare.com Anyhow thats my 2 cents.

Great! but dammit, i was in need of this kind of web sites just two weeks before but ill take note of it... This trap17 thing is just awesome, you keep learning while posting and it gives you free hosting... amazing, thanks again guys

well thanks you for the website...but as mentioned that the file will be deleted if not downloaded in 14 days....which is a bad part.....now is it possible for me to store files forever by forever I mean like a place where we can upload files and it is not having any days restriction.

wow! this is great! i didn't even know there were such sites like those. I guess I'll give a try at least to everyone of them. My only question is how fast do you download the files overthere? I mean, sometimes it takes ages, i can imagine it must be a bit slow, isn't it? Cheers!!

Well they seem to be having some sort of stupid server problem so your downloads won'r work for at least a while. So I'd wait till the all clear before using these guys.
