000webhost Review

Well i was a free host member for the last 12 weeks and they have good uptime but .....

your not allowed to host any kind of Movie / pc app download service or have vbulletin installed overall there a good host



band width = 100gb which is alright but customer service is rubbish and they do site inspections every two weeks which i think is wrong they close your site for 24 hrs with no warning

cant have vbulletin installed? thats strange.. they offer php and mysql but will not let you install one of the most popular bulletin boards...

000Webhost really sucked when I used it! It used to be my previous host, a while ago, it had poor service, slow uploading time, and very poor customer service. It was almost like it was an old site not ran by anybody! They usually put adverts on and the admin would check your site like 3 hours after you made it to make sure its safe. If it isnt, they shut it with out warning and dont listen to reason. They also do web inspections every couple weeks, mentioned earlier, this isnt good either, they stop your site and try peeking into it! Who knows what you might have on it thats private!

000webhost is the baddest web hoster I've known, it's has been my host a very long time ago, maybe 3-4 months ago? I think they should update their services and everything.

You guys just stay with Trap17 - it's the best free host ever, especially with package 2.

i just signed up for it. i agree it isn't that good but a lot of other web hosting sites like don't even work and they can't email to hotmail and yahoo and stuff. at least 000webhost is reliable. it may be bad but it works lol.

I have different experience with 000webhost. Though its upload is kind of unstable when it comes to uploading large contents like forum package or portal package but it have solid good uptime now compare to its previous standard which each new registered member will restart its servers.

The reason they refuse vBulletin installation is due to the high rate of illegal copies installed in 000webhost. So far phpbb, SMF is the forum package that i tried and worked with 000webhost. And who would put up private files in a free / unsecured webhost?

That was a host I found too, but I was never able to use it. I tried signing up twice. Once with a Gmail account and once with a Yahoo account, but I never got the confirmation email on either! So I couldn't activate my account! All the faq about this says to do it sign up again and check spam folder, but of course that doesn't work... So then I try to ask a question in their help section, type the whole thing up to submit the "ticket," and then it never shows up.... so I get now help... Complete waste of time. It sounded really nice but those were empty promises.

Yeah, I had the same problem as Cat5e! The confirmation mail which I requested on my GMail account never got into the inbox or the spam folder. They are just stupid and a very bad host.

Ignore them

The reason why they don't let you have vBulletin on it, is because they may think it is nulled. I do say though, that 000 is one of the worst hosts out there. They inspect your website all the time, and they give you almost no space. I also think that 000 is the host that they give you space and bandwidth for free, but you have to pay for MySQL databases. Not very nice
